Bella Luce jewels are bright, white and dazzling. Take the jewels in this two-ring set. The main jewel is a 6.6ct round. To help with perspective, Bella Luce is 1.7 times heavier than diamond, so that weight equates to approximately the size of a 3ct diamond. A very believable wow size that actually measures 10mm x 10mm, it is secured in an eight-prong setting. The setting suggests a very expensive stone ... it’s a detail that further enhances the believability of this piece.
We’ve surrounded the center jewel with details that suggest a vintage piece. The octagonal effect of the eight prongs is supported by a halo of eight semi-circles, each set with three Bella Luce jewels. Are you noticing that the piece has an art-deco look? The geometry of the repeated octagon motif definitely transports to the early 1900s. Bella Luce jewels grace the shoulders of the center ring.
That center portion would be lovely on its own, but part of the beauty of Bella Luce is found in the opulence of the settings in which it is presented. The wrap adds a weighty and expensive additional element.
It features a series of baguettes that alternate with rounds. The rounds are bezel set and nest deeply between the prongs that secure the baguettes.
