These earrings combine two symbols that are thought by some cultures to bring good fortune - the Hamsa hand and the evil eye.
In almost all cultures, the Hamsa hand is a symbol of good things. When it faces down, folklore says that it opens the wearer to the goodness of the universe. In some cultures, it also means answers to prayers.
The closed fingers are said to symbolize good luck.
The evil eye is thought by many to be a symbol of protection against evil. We think that’s a good concept. While we have no scientific substantiation for any of these beliefs, we like their positive direction.
