Pre-Owned 0.35ct marquise white diamond center stone surrounded by
0.65ctw of round and baguette white diamonds, 10k yellow gold center
design ring. Measures approximately 1/8"L x 7/16"W and is
sizeable up or down 1 size. White rhodium enhanced prongs.. This
product may be a customer return, vendor sample, or on-air display and
is not in its originally manufactured condition. It may not be new. In
some instances, these items are repackaged by JTV.
The marquise cut has a rich history and a royal inspiration. According to legend, it was designed to resemble the lips of Madame de Pompadour - at the request of King Louis XV of France. She was one of the most powerful and influential women of her day. How apropos that the marquise cut should be as memorable and as fascinating as the lady for whom it was designed.
In this ring, the star is that 0.35ct marquise-cut center stone. It is positioned in a regal setting with a “crown” of round diamonds set in complementary marquise-shaped stations of 10k yellow gold. The marquise theme continues as the frame of the piece across the top and along the base of the center marquise. To further enhance the beauty and desirability of this unique design, there is a center row of baguette-like, white diamonds running in a row along the shoulders between rounds.
