Such sparkle!Better than diamond. I love being able to add to my collection. I gave it a 4 only because of the slight cutting problems. The defects are barely seen by the naked eye, but they are there. August 06, 2013

Just a comment about this gemstone...My husband and I went to a "pay to dig" gemstone mine in NC a few years ago and I found one of these "diamonds" in my screen. The owner of the mine seemed surprised when I asked about what it was. Then I found out they 'salt' their buckets so I guess he did not intend for it to be found in the buckets we paid for. I kept it just because it was interesting. Now that I have watched JTV for several years and know about wire wrapping, I may try to make a pendant out of my Herkimer Diamond. I could at least say I made something from what I found in the dirt! I'm not sure it could be drilled either but wrapped, yes, with great patience. April 27, 2014

OMG how beautiful-God's perfection in nature!I just absolutely LOVE these stones. They couldn't be any more close to perfection. My only issue is that it's hard to do anything with them other than just for a collection. They aren't calibrated b/c of the nature of the stone and no drilling done so what can I do? i would love to wire them on a pair of earrings, but I don't have a jewelers drill. I would love to have a ton of this stone, it is so awesome but at this price if I wired 10 or so on each ear that would be one expensive pair of earrings! Oh well, for now they are a joy to look at until I figure out what to do with them, I'm a little new to jewelry making so I'm sure I will make them into something beautiful one day! April 27, 2014
