I am very disappointed with this parcel. I just started a faceting class and was hoping to use some of these stones. Alas, every single rock has cracks in it so the best I can do is tumble them, if they don't break!

I have purchased a lot of rough material for tumbling and hand polishing purposes but this is the first parcel that did not resemble what it was represented to be. The chunks were large but only about four carats worth of small chips showed the aqua color I was expecting. Even wet the material seemed closer to the opaque white quartz I use for aquarium gravel and rock. This will serve to help my son learn to polish and tumble stones for the first time. I suppose it is a status symbol to have aquamarine in your fish tank. I do think this material should be reclassed as goshenite or colorless beryl not aquamarine.

The aquamarine rough parcel that I received had very little rough to remove but little color in the gem material. I know they would not send out the "gemy" rough but I did expect some light blue color at least in the material. Disappointed with this parcel. I'll find some way to use it in my jewelry making....

Rated 1 out of 5 by Aba6 Sorry to have ordered this product
Parcel received was in pieces so small that almost looked like sand. No color at all. Sorry to have ordered this product. I do not think I can do anything with the tiny stones. This for sure looks unusuable.
