Katy Smith

Katy Smith has been a show host and featured artist at JTV since 2017.

She has always seen herself as a mixed media artist with an eye for color. Her passion for painting transformed into a love for jewelry and gemstones and using them to make wearable art. Since 2011, she has loved creating jewelry and collecting gemstones.

She approaches jewelry making much like she views creating a painting and considers shape, composition, color and repetition among other factors.

She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in both painting and drawing from the University of Tennessee with a minor in art history. She loves teaching, learning and interacting with other gemstone enthusiasts!
