Notes:

For this necklace you will make all beaded links (or sections) first. Then start open and close connectors to attach to quick links. Remember to use big connectors with solid textured rings and small connectors with bead links. You can follow pattern given or you can come up with your own pattern. Necklace is long and very fashionable although timeless. Have fun!

How to:

1. Cut 4 pieces of 3” of gold German style wire.

2. Using one 3” piece of German wire make a simple loop and wrap twice around it’s neck. Trim excess wire and then slide through one kiwi donut and palace green crystal round bead inside. Make similar loop on other side and wrap it twice, trim excess wire and set aside. Make 3 more of these.

3. Follow instructions below to assemble all the combinations to build the different beaded links(or sections):

a. Insert the tip of silver plated head pin through the inside out of the green shell and then add one sparkling silver bead. Make a simple loop on top of bead and wrap around it twice and trim excess wire. Repeat to make the other loop on the opposite side. Make 3 of these and set aside.

b. Cut one 3” piece of gold plated German style wire. Make a simple loop, slide one bead cap, one fiber bead and another bead cap. Make a second loop on the opposite side. Wrap it twice and then trim excess wire. Make 3 more of theses and set him aside.

c. Repeat step 3.b to make 4 links using one sparkling bead, one dark green Lucite roundelle and another silver plated sparkling beads. Make exactly the same previous links. Once you have four of these set them aside.

d. Repeat previous step to make 3 links using: one sparkling silver bead + frosted green bead + sparkling silver bead.

e. Repeat previous step to make 2 links using: one sparkling silver bead + frosted black bead + sparkling silver bead.

f. Make 2 links using: sparkling silver bead + twisted green jasper coin + sparkling silver bead.

g. Cut one 3” piece of German style wire. Make a simple loop on one end of wire. Slide one faux green gold Venetian bead and then make another loop on the opposite end. Trim excess wire. Make a second link just like these one. Set both aside.

4. Assembling first half of long strand (outside): silver oval textured link + dk green roundelle + square gold link + blk frosted bead + green shell donut + green fiber bead + gold round link + small silver oval textured link + big gold link + green gold Venetian bead + green fiber bead + silver round textured link + dk green roundelle + square gold link.

5. Assembling second half of long strand: silver oval textured link + dk green roundelle + square gold link + twisted green jasper coin bead + green shell donut + green fiber bead + gold round link + small silver oval textured link + big gold link + green frosted bead + green fiber bead + silver round textured link + dk green roundelle + square gold link.

6. Connect pieces from steps 4 and 5 attaching a kiwi quartz donut link to silver oval textured links, one on each side. Remember to use silver plated large connectors. This is the bottom front of your necklace. Then using medium gold connectors attach a twisted green coin bead to square gold links, one on each side. This is the back of your necklace.

7. Assembling first half of short (inside) strand: green frosted bead + silver oval textured link + kiwi quartz donut + silver round textured link + black frosted bead + gold square link + rectangle shell donut + gold round link + small silver oval textured link.

8. Assembling second half of short strand: green frosted bead + silver oval textured link + kiwi quartz donut + silver round textured link + green gold Venetian bead + gold square link + rectangle shell donut + gold round link + small silver oval textured link.

9. Connect pieces from steps 7 and 8 attaching green frosted beads to a round gold textured link. Use large connector and attach one on each side of link. This is the bottom front of your short necklace. Then attach small oval links to silver round textured link of long necklace.
