Get to Know Claire
How did you get your start in the jewelry business?
I started working behind the scenes in production back in 2018 and became enamored with the business. The jewelry and the quality and intricacies all drew me in but the amount I learned just by watching hosts and speaking with them in preshow made me know this was what I wanted to do.
What are the most meaningful items in your jewelry collection?
A diamond necklace I received from my grandmother. It was her original engagement ring I believe and it’s so beautiful and sentimental. The first rings I bought myself at JTV and the rings my mother gave me in high school. I think all of these hold value because they represent several generations of women in my family and I hope I can keep passing these items down!
What is your go-to item from JTV to give as a gift?
Stretch Bracelet sets or stud earring sets! You don’t need to know sizes and even the shyest of jewelry wearers is going to throw on something as understated as a stud or as easy to throw on as a stretch or wrap bracelet!
Three jewelry items to bring on a trip?
Huggie hoops, stackable necklaces and bold cocktail rings
Three favorite places to vacation?
Hilton Head, Chicago and Chattanooga
Three fun facts?
I started out as a PA at JTV and got to work behind the scenes with all the other hosts! I am from Raleigh NC and moved here in 2011 for school but growing up my grandpa was band director at UT and my grandmother a Dean so I’ve been singing rocky top my whole life!
Favorite book genre and one example?
When I was growing up I loved all the fantasy books but now I love to learn about people’s lives and stories in autobiographies! I.e; Tina Fey’s Bossypants.
Favorite genre of music and one example?
I bounce all over the place with new pop hits, classic rock and cocktail jazz. I love currently: Chappell Roan, Whitney Houston, Tears for Fears and Frank Sinatra.
