Product Information
Mozambique vivid Purple Red rubellite tourmaline 34.11ct 21.78x18.59x12.46mm oval. The gemstone was mined in Mozambique and cut in the United States. The gemstone comes with an Stone Group Labs Gemstone Identification and Origin Report. The stone has been appraised by Craig Lynch G.G. for $47,755.00.

One of the most desirable colors of elbaite tourmaline, rubellite, is prized for its pinkish-red to rich red coloring. This copper bearing rubellite has vivid, slightly purple-red color and comes from the now famous Mozambican Paraiba tourmaline mining region. Make no mistake about it; this is a fine and very rare gemstone. It is a well known fact that rubellite is a type 3 clarity gemstone, meaning it is normal to have minor eye-visible inclusions, much like type 3 emeralds. It is clear from the appraised value submitted by Craig Lynch, G. G., that this is an important gemstone and among the finest in the collection. Make it yours today!
