The cluster ring. Formerly, and still sometimes, called the cocktail ring. It has its roots in the days of prohibition, when young people partied the night through and women (gasp!) cut their hair and raised their skirts.
Of course, this ring is tanzanite and unknown in those days of roaring fun! Discovered in 1967, it was definitely not on the scene when couples were dancing the Charleston.
But it’s on the scene now – which is important, because this gemstone may be on the no-longer-available list in our lifetimes.
