Product Information
Tanzanian fluorescent mint grossular garnet 5.13ct 12.53x9.85mm oval. The gemstone was mined in Tanzania and cut in India. The stone comes with a Stone Group Labs Gemstone Identification and Origin Report and has been appraised by Craig Lynch G.G. for $$6,460.00.

This five carat plus, fine Merelani Mint Garnet is a sibling to Tsavorite. These large, fine color, great clarity, well-cut Mint Garnets are a real find. The result of ten years of mining in the C block Tanzanite mines, this rough was set aside and not cut. We partnered with a cutter and bought it all at an amazing price. And we are passing on the savings to you. Another interesting feature is these gems from this ten-year mining period in hard rock at depths over 2,500 feet. This beauty fluoresces a medium to strong peach color, which adds to the specialness of these rare gems and gives them an extra glow that seems to generate from within.
