Product Information
Untreated Tanzanian Golden Brown Zoisite 20.78ct 19.17x14.74x10.24mm oval. The gemstone was mined in Tanzania and cut in India. The gemstone comes with a Stone Group Labs Gemstone Identification and Origin Report. The stone has been appraised by Craig Lynch G.G. for $9,975.00.

The rich golden tones of this fancy colored zoisite and its substantial size of 20.78 carats make this gem stand out in a crowd. The famed hard rock mines in Tanzania's Merelani Hills near Mount Kilimanjaro have produced the world's only and finest blue zoisite, or tanzanite, to date. Very rarely, these same mines produce some zoisite in extremely rare and fancy colors. This "golden" colored zoisite is one of the rarest of these fancy colors. Last year, for the first time, we were offered a small parcel of these rare yellow golden zoisite gems. Our tanzanite suppliers estimate these rare fancy colors represent less than 0.25% of the entire mine production, making a gem such as this a rare and especially collectible gemstone.
