3.15ct Rectangular Octagonal Blue Tanzanite With 0.05ctw Diamond Accent
10k Yellow Gold Ring. Measures Approximately 0.46"L x 0.39"W.
Take a close look at the cut of this tanzanite. Take a close look at the color of this tanzanite. As you most likely know, all gemstones come in a range of saturation, or intensity of color. We think this stone delivers a color that is recognizably and undeniably the intriguing blue that is tanzanite. We love that it is a little less saturated than the most intense tanzanite. It almost feels as though it is somehow clearer.
The rectangular octagonal cut is a step cut and a cut above what we often see with this very desirable stone. It’s a more difficult cut for a lapidary to optimize and requires extreme care. We think it’s worth the extra effort when we gaze into this striking stone.
We would be neglectful if we didn’t mention the dainty, mined, white diamond accents that surround the tanzanite. They act as a foil to the stone that is the star here.
