Kim Kanary is the Vice President of Community Development and Engagement at JTV, where she leads the gemstone advancement team and social media group. Kim oversees social media and influencer marketing, including strategy, channels, organic and paid campaigns, along with measurement, outside agencies and partners. She also leads a team of gemstone experts responsible for content creation, product testing and research, education and outreach, as well as curation of internal and external JTV collections.
Kim joined JTV with over 15 years of experience in marketing communications, digital/social media and public relations. Her background spans a wide variety of industries including retail, CPG, beauty, luxury, real estate and financial. Prior to joining JTV, Kim served as the Vice President, Public Relations and Social Media North America, for Signet Jewelers. While there, she developed communications, digital and social media programs for brands such as Kay Jewelers, Jared and Zales. Prior to her role at Signet Jewelers, Kim served as Vice President of Corporate Communications for Associated Estates Realty Corporation and Assistant Vice President of Retail/Internal Communications at National City Corporation (PNC). She also held various marketing communications positions at Smucker’s.
Kim received her Bachelor of Arts in communications from Baldwin Wallace University and earned her Master’s degree from Bowling Green State University.
