Chief Digital Officer

Craig Shields is the Chief Digital Officer at JTV, and he joined JTV in 2000 to lead the development of the company’s online presence of In his newest role as Chief Digital Officer, Craig will lead the newly created Digital Commerce Group and oversee The mission of the Digital Commerce Group is to “nurture and grow digital commerce”.

In his most recent role as the Senior Vice President of Digital Strategy, he was responsible for the company’s strategic direction of digital marketing, customer experience and sales for all digital platforms.

Craig is a veteran of the e-commerce industry with 20 years of experience in the Internet and e-commerce space including marketing, merchandising, product management and technology.
In addition to his role at JTV, Craig has been an active member of several organizations including, NRF and ERA. He has also served on client advisory boards for numerous JTV technology partners as well as the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau of East Tennessee and The University of Tennessee’s Retail and Hospitality program.  More recently, Craig was invited to join the NRF Digital Advisory Council as well as Coresight Research’s AI Council.

Craig is a frequent speaker at industry events such as and eTail, and he has been interviewed by, and featured in, industry publications such as Internet Retailer, and Forrester Research. Before joining JTV, Craig provided internet technology and creative consulting for multiple companies.

Craig holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati.
