How does a JTV Drop Auctions™ event work?

Our system measures real-time supply and demand to determine how fast prices should drop for items featured in the three drop slots. The prices will keep dropping for each one until someone gets it first or it’s gone, so if you see something you like, make sure to buy it quickly or you’ll miss out!

Is there bidding in a JTV Drop Auctions™ event?

No. There’s no bidding involved, and the prices aren’t rising, though you are competing against other real shoppers in a live sale event. The prices continue to drop and you may click on ‘freeze’ to complete your purchase at any point before the product is gone.

How do I know how much more the price will drop?

You don’t, and neither do we. The price will stop dropping when the featured product is gone, which can happen at any point if someone gets it first.

How do I know that I won?

If you hit “Freeze Price” and are re-directed to the shopping cart, you will be able to complete your purchase.

I hit the “Freeze Price” button, but I don’t want to buy this product. How do I get back to the live sale event?

Simply remove the item from your cart and re-enter the live JTV Drop Auctions Event, the same way as before, or click the “back” button to return to the live sale event.

There is a countdown clock in my shopping cart. What does that mean?

The JTV Drop Auctions price is available for a limited time once the price has been frozen. You will need to complete your checkout during this time frame.

What happens if the timer runs out before I have completed my purchase?

It’s important to complete the checkout process quickly! If the timer runs out before you have completed the checkout process, the item with its frozen price will be removed from your cart.
