This stone..........has been well reviewed by the others. The only thing I can add is,,,,you have to own it to fully appreciate it. February 06, 2015

Sweet a++++I really like this stone. It is totally different from any other. It looks like the picture but the blue fleck are a teal color that looks metallic. Very reflective and stunning. I was lucky and got a lot of the blue so it shimmers nicely. I plan on putting London blue topaz around it to bring out more of the blue. November 11, 2014

Quite different! This is my second Azure Gabbro. I thought my first one so interesting, I wanted to see another one!
The glistening blue crystals throughout the dark background, make this a unique stone for any collection! (The picture doesn't show the true beauty). June 04, 2014
Purchased as a gift: No, it is not a gift.
Not Your Everyday RockI had never heard of Gabbro before, but after doing some research, discovered that it is an igneous rock. Igneous rocks are formed when molten magma gets trapped deep beneath the earth's surface and cools into a crystalline mass (from Wikipedia). This Azure Gabbro is very pretty. It is surprisingly lightweight. The blue streaks throughout glisten like crystal. This is an unusual rock for a collector, or to place in a pendant setting. Thank you, JTV, for making this interesting rock accessible to the public. June 04, 2014
