Rated 5 out of 5 by Celeste1210 Not Your Everyday Rock
I had never heard of Gabbro before, but after doing some research, discovered that it is an igneous rock. Igneous rocks are formed when molten magma gets trapped deep beneath the earth's surface and cools into a crystalline mass (from Wikipedia). This Azure Gabbro is very pretty. It is surprisingly lightweight. The blue streaks throughout glisten like crystal. This is an unusual rock for a collector, or to place in a pendant setting. Thank you, JTV, for making this interesting rock accessible to the public.
