Ethiopian Opal And Tanzanite 1.58ctw With Diamond Accent Sterling Silver Ring
Rated 5 out of 5 by SeminoleSweetie1 I bought this for myself
This is a beautiful Ethiopian Opal And Tanzanite ring. I am waring it on the middle finger on my right hand. If you like Ethiopian Opal And Tanzanite don't hesitate to order this ring, I promise you won't be disappointed.

I received the ring yesterday and was pleased with the size of the opals and their colors! The tanzanite...not so much. Very small stones, with little color, so they were not readily recognized as being tanzanite. The opal presence, however, makes up for the tanzanite scarcity. My hope for this ring was to combine two gems that I didn't have....the Ethiopian opal and the tanzanite. Receiving one out of two is OK. I will enjoy wearing the ring, pleased with the pastel colors of the opal stones.

This is my second attempt at purchasing an Ethiopian opal ring. Both were returned. This time I'm done. The tanzanite was nice enough, but the Ethiopian opals look like oval pieces of cloudy white plastic. There was a slight orange glow, but nothing flashing or floating within. No green, blue, red, or orange flashes. Just cloudy white plastic. It was actually ugly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by GrandmaZoo Beautiful Opals! Horrible diamonds
I was so excited when I got my ring. Opened the box, took it out and wanted to cry. The opals and tanzanite are beautiful. The accent diamonds are so bad they spoil the whole ring. They made the ring look as if someone had smeared glue all along the outside edge of the ring. I almost kept the ring to keep the opals and have them reworked. I have been a customer for a very long time and this is the first time I have had to return anything to jtv.

All I heard was Ethiopian Opals how beautiful they are. Knew I must have one, after watching many rings I decided on this one. When I opened the box I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED.The color of play was not there for me..neither was the flashing of different colors. I put it in the light still nothing . Now I wonder if all the opals are this way. I guess I will have to spend alot of money for a really nice color opal.. or just settle for none..

Rated 2 out of 5 by lovarings Really disappointed
I was really looking forward to getting this ring, and then when I opened the box was completely disappointed. The Opals have very little color, and the tanzanite and diamond accent added nothing to the ring. There was no sparkle or shine. It does not look at all like the ring I saw on TV, or at jtv.com. I was looking forward to some color and fire. What a let down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Diane72 Opals are pretty good, tanzanites - not so good
It's not a WOW, but it is nice enough to keep. I keep wondering why other stones are so often combined with opals. Nice opals stand great on their own. These tanzanites don't do anything to enhance the ring. It would be better with CZ's. However, the diamond accents are actually not too bad.

I was expecting my three opal stones to be a little bigger. It didn't look like I hoped. One can't even see the color of tanzanite it's like the tanzanite is not there. I picked the wrong ring.
