Tim Matthews received his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude in Economics from Harvard College in 1978 and his Juris Doctor Cum Laude from Harvard Law School in 1981. Tim was a partner for 21 years with the law firm of Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL in Cincinnati, Ohio and was recognized numerous times as among The Best Lawyers in America and Ohio Super Lawyers. Tim joined Jewelry Television® as President and CEO in 2008.
Since joining JTV, Tim has earned his Graduate Gemology Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America as well as GIA's Graduate Diplomas in Diamonds, Colored Stones and Pearls, and has received his Foundation Certificate from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain.
Tim has extensive leadership experience advising CEOs and senior management teams on corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions. He serves as a director on other corporate and charitable boards. Tim brings a broad business perspective and interdisciplinary skills to Jewelry Television®.
Bob Hall is co-founder of Jewelry Television®. Prior to Jewelry Television®, Hall served as President of Shop At Home, Inc. He has been involved in several high-growth and turn-around management teams. He served as General Manager for Sacramento Cable Television during a transition to effective operations.
As Controller/Operations Manager for Scripps Howard Cable Systems, he was instrumental in the start-up that grew to more than $100 million in annual revenues within three years. In total, Hall has 30 years of management experience across such diverse industries as public accounting, manufacturing, retail, finance, and cable home shopping. He holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Bill Kouns is a co-founder of Jewelry Television® and has served in a variety of roles including President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to moving into the role of Chief Merchandising Officer in 2008, Bill served as President. His career with Jewelry Television® began in 1994 as he helped co-found the company.
After earning his BA, MA, and PhD degrees, he went to work for the research department of F. Hoffman-LaRoche in Basel, Switzerland. He began his jewelry career in 1968 with Schwartzchild Brothers Jewelers in Richmond, Va. He continued his formal education at the University of Tennessee while working as a bench jeweler.
Charlie Wagner was a founding partner in the Knoxville, Tenn., based law firm of Wagner, Myers, and Sanger. Wagner became a legal advisor to Jewelry Television® shortly after the company's inception, became an investor and active board member in 1996, and left his law practice of 37 years to join the company's executive team in 2003. Charlie presently serves as Vice Chairman of the board and General Counsel to JTV's holding company.
Wagner is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with degrees in business and law. He is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association.
Stephen E. Roth is JTV’s Vice-President and General Counsel. Prior to joining JTV in 2006, Steve was a shareholder in the Baker Donelson law firm where he practiced for 20 years. While at Baker Donelson, Steve served as the Managing Shareholder of the firm’s Knoxville office, as a member of its Board of Directors, as the Chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group and as the Chair of its Intellectual Property Practice Group. He was recognized in The Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers, a listing of leading attorneys in the Southeast.
Steve received his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Tennessee, where he became a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Order of the Coif.
Crawford Wagner joined Jewelry Television® in 2001 as Corporate Controller before assuming his current post as Chief Financial Officer in 2003. His CFO responsibilities include managing the accounting, internal audit, financial planning, and credit card processing functions of the corporation.
Crawford began his career with Arthur Andersen in the assurance and business advisory division. He later joined the strategy consulting group with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting. While with Andersen, he specialized in start-up and aggressive-growth companies with a focus on initial public offerings and acquisitions.
Crawford is a cum laude graduate of the University of Tennessee with a BS degree in Business Administration - Accounting and a Master of Accountancy. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Tim Engle joined Jewelry Television's executive team in 2006 during the company's acquisition of Shop at Home, Inc. Tim was tapped to re-launch that network and later transitioned back to JTV in a strategic development role. Currently, he is involved in identifying emerging trends and business opportunities that support the continued growth of Jewelry Television.
Tim spent eight years with IBM in corporate finance, culminating as CFO of Tennessee Market Operations. He has held several key positions within the electronic retailing industry, including President of HLC, Inc., where he developed and implemented affinity programs for retail clients. Tim also served as COO for Shop at Home, where he grew the business from $100 million to $300 million in annual revenue and launched the internet property ShopAtHomeTV.com. He later became President of the network.
Tim graduated with high honors from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Business Administration.
Jerry Sisk's knowledge of the jewelry industry spanned a period of over four decades, beginning with training as a bench jeweler in 1968. His experience included a number of industry positions, from jewelry salesperson to manager of a high-end retail jewelry store. He also worked at Shop at Home in the capacity of show host, buyer, and educator, culminating in a one-year term on its board of directors.
In 1993, Jerry co-founded America's Collectibles Network, now Jewelry Television ® with friends Bob Hall and Bill Kouns. As Executive Vice President of JTV, Jerry traveled to over 40 countries worldwide, had a deep appreciation for many cultures and was well versed in challenges of gemstone mining and jewelry manufacturing. His vast and varied experience included gemstone and jewelry procurement, show hosting, and creation of educational materials for the corporation.
Unfortunately, Jerry passed away in January 2013 and is greatly missed by his JTV family.
