Answer:
I presume you are talking about a simple necklace strand. This is not the best thread for that purpose. This thread is meant primarily for using with seed beads, i.e. weaving small beads in a pattern. It is too thin for a simple stringing of a 8mm crystals - it is meant to go through seed beads more than once as you weave.

Search the site for "Beading Wire" (and not Artistic or craft wire). A .018" 7-strand spool should be sufficient, and perhaps look for a color to match the crystals. The 19-strand or 49-stand will give you more drape, if that is what you want. The .018" thickness is a good average size - a smaller size may be too loose and a larger size may be too thick for the bead hole.

Answer:
I am very sorry, but I do not restring. Most jewelers will do it or know where to get it done correctly, and it is not as expensive as buying the tools, etc. to do it yourself ( sorry Jewel School). Their results look better than anything I have ever done, and their knots are more even than anything I know how to do. This is not a snap project. It takes months of practice. I have tried, and with years of needlepoint and cross stitch experience, I wind up with an uneven result. Sorry, I wish I could have been of more help. I have learned when to "hold em, and when to fold em."
