How do you read the spectrascope?
My husband bought me two rings years ago from JTV and I think they are Pad Sapphire. The Refractometer said they are Sapphire. What do I need to do now. Should I be confident in the Refractometer?

A Spectroscope is a tool for examining which parts of light are absorbed by a gemstone and other materials. The absorbed part will influence the color. Dark Color
My wife is looking for the color in the picture or close to it. She does not want a lighter color as one of the reviews said. As long as it looks like a real Pad Sapphire she will be happy. Can anyone help! Thanks.

The lab Pad I own it's very close to the real Pad,and even though I'm not a fan of lab created ,this is a stone I can't afford in natural,so this was the next best thing,I would just buy it and show it to your wife,and if she doesn't like it,they have a very good return policy,so you only going to be out the shipping.If this is a matter of personal taste,your wife it's the only one that can decide.Hope this help.Gender: Female
