No not with these. The stone goes up against the bezel and you push the tabs down to hold the stone in place. They are true to size or the stone would fall right through. In your case, the stone just would not go in or lay flat. Castings and mountings are found at JTV.com on line. They literally come and go daily because this is the only station that lets you, the consumer, do something with the wonderful gems you bought. So you might have to look daily. Click on gemstones , then castings and go through the pages daily because with the fluctuating price of silver and gold, even the prices change with every new buy. Old buys have stayed the same, so you can get some gold mounts that should cost three times more, but were bought when gold cost a lot less. If you have trouble purchasing from a computer, you can call a JTV operator anytime, and explain that you want to order something different than is being shown on TV. Then give the operator the item number and size , (if needed). Never give up, literally, every day there is something new, and these are easier to set than the snap ones. I use my gem tweezers to push down the tabs because they are strong at the tip. Good hunting!
