I own this ring,and the answer is no,it doesn't have an under gallery,but it's smooth and very comfortable,although very thin on the gold,the stones are stunning specially the opal,I mean mine is on fire,but the ring is so tiny it looks like a kid ring,you might have to pair it up with some kind of band to make it look more significant .I hope this answer your question.Gender: Female

As a faceted stone, this opal will come to a point at the bottom. From looking at the photos and video, i would guess it doesn't have the common finish provided and many of JTV's rings. For an exact answer, I'd call the 800 number and they should be able to give you more precise details. If you really like it, you can always order it, JTV has a 30 day return policy, so if you are unhappy with the inside finish, you can return it for a refund. It is a beautiful ring!!Gender: Female
